Dr. Samantha Hopkins is our speaker for the evening. Dr. Hopkins has been a paleontologist and professor in Earth Sciences at the University of Oregon since 2007.

We'll be looking for concretions in the creek bedrock, some of which contain fossil crabs. It's also a lovely small creek in the woods, perfect for a hot July day. 

We will have exhibits, activities, and free fossils for kids, fossil prep demonstrations, and more.

NARG member, Isaac Gagner, is our speaker for the evening. Isaac will talk about his internship at Ashfall Fossil Beds State Historical Park in Nebraska.
